Faster and more responsive. The new Piranha4 8k dual line scan CMOS camera has arrived. Based on the unique line scan CMOS sensor architecture from Teledyne Dalsa, the new Piranha4 8k dual line scan camera provides outstanding signal-to-noise for high speed imaging.

Teledyne DALSA raises the performance bar once again with the Piranha4. Powered by the latest high performance CMOS dual line scan imager, the Piranha4 offers resolutions from 1k to 8k pixels in a variety of pixel sizes to let you inspect and detect with unrivalled precision, speed, and responsivity. First out is the 8k model, now available for testing.

The unique dual line scan CMOS architecture from Teledyne DALSA delivers a 2x increase in responsivity. Large full-well capacity maximizes signal coverage for bright light, while low read noise and on-chip CDS ensures superior signal-to-noise at low light. The Piranha4 camera is built for the real world with features to ease system integration. Precise sensor alignment across X/Y/Z axes allows reliable, optimized performance in multi-camera systems, while an advanced GenICam compliant user interface makes it easy to set up and control camera parameters such as exposure control, FFC, white balance, gain, test patterns, diagnostics and more.
